Daily Journal Interviews Craig Peters on Drug Companies’ Role in Opioid Crisis

As published in the Daily Journal article "27 state AGs investigate drug companies' role in opioid crisis," Trial Team Leader Craig Peters discussed the actions by drug companies that may have put consumers at risk of developing an opioid addiction.

"It's been sort of the open secret that pharmaceutical companies have tacitly sat by while this epidemic has gotten worse," said Peters. He added that drug company promotions of opioids have been difficult to track because they market directly to doctors, which can take many forms, from free samples to claims about the potential risks of opioids.
