Andje Morovich Medina

Andje Morovich Medina is passionate about the rights of injured individuals. She has a deep appreciation for her role as a counselor and advocate, and she understands that she is assisting people coping with major losses and life changes. As such, Ms. Medina operates with true compassion and vigor.
Focused on catastrophic injury cases, Ms. Medina is experienced in every aspect of the process, including evaluation, investigation, motion practice, settlement and trial. She previously worked for a large, civil defense firm in San Francisco, experience that provides her a unique perspective. Ms. Medina understands what insurance companies and large private businesses are looking for when evaluating cases and uses this knowledge to build a winning strategy for the injured parties.
Ms. Medina graduated with honors from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2007. While in law school, she served as a senior editor of the Golden Gate University Law Review Journal, where she published an article analyzing racial discrimination during the voir dire process, titled “Voir Dire Racial Discrimination Under a ‘Comparative Juror Analysis’ in Kesser v. Cambra, 37 Golden Gate U.L. Rev. 657 (2007).”
Ms. Medina received multiple academic excellence awards and served as a teacher’s assistant in constitutional law and civil procedure, lecturing in both areas. She was selected to participate in the Honors Lawyering Program at Golden Gate and achieved Dean’s List rankings each semester. In addition, she served on the moot court board and was a member of the mock trial competition team. She received a specialty certificate in litigation upon graduation.
A Judicial Extern for Commissioner Marjorie A. Slabach in the San Francisco Unified Family Court, Ms. Medina remains active mentoring law school students and often serves as a moot court judge at the Golden Gate University School of Law.
Ms. Medina earned undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Law and Society from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2003. She participated in the honors program and graduated with a double major in just three years. During her studies, Ms. Medina clerked at the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office.
Admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Ms. Medina is also a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and Queen’s Bench. She was born and raised in California and has made San Francisco her home.
