Anthony L. Label

Anthony L. Label is a member of the McGuinn|Cooper Trial Team, a 10-person group that focuses on prosecuting large exposure cases and preparing complex cases for civil jury trials. The McGuinn|Cooper Trial Team is frequently asked to associate or substitute as lead trial counsel in large cases that are likely to try. Mr. Label represents individuals who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord trauma, nerve damage, and severe orthopedic injuries. He represents plaintiffs in the recovery of damages arising from industrial accidents, dangerous premises, auto accidents, wrongful death, governmental liability, and professional negligence. Mr. Label has participated in several cases with seven-figure resolutions.

Mr. Label has been with The Veen Firm since 2003. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Label practiced law as a commercial litigator for a large national law firm headquartered in San Francisco, and also practiced in a major plaintiffs class action firm. Mr. Label was admitted to the California Bar in 1999.

Mr. Label graduated from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 1999 (top 25% of class). While in law school, Mr. Label served as an Associate Note Editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, won Third Place Oral Argument during the school’s Moot Court Competition, and competed in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, where his team won best brief in the region and advanced to the national finals. Mr. Label also served as a judicial extern in the United States District Court, Northern District of California for the Honorable Ronald M. Whyte (1997) and the Honorable Maria Elena James (1998). Mr. Label received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1994.

Mr. Label is admitted to practice before California State and federal courts. He is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Litigation Section of the California State Bar.

Mr. Label was born in San Francisco, California, and is a fourth-generation San Francisco area native.
