Jeremy Cloyd

Jeremy Cloyd joined the Label trial team in 2010 to focus his practice on the representation of catastrophically injured individuals. Mr. Cloyd has experience representing victims of construction site negligence, excessive force by law enforcement, racetrack negligence, industrial accidents, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, explosions, auto accidents, dog bites, dangerous premises, wrongful death and amputations.
Mr. Cloyd has obtained five, six, seven and eight figure results for his clients at trial and binding arbitration and has resolved countless other cases before trial. Many of these results have been considered “newsworthy” by media outlets such as The Recorder, The San Francisco Examiner and The Associated Press. In 2011, Mr. Cloyd was named a finalist for the Trial Lawyer of the Year award by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association for his work on Travis v. Bison Builders, Inc., which resulted in the largest injury verdict in Marin County history. He has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine every year since 2009 – an honor given to no more than 2.5% of California lawyers.
In 2002, Mr. Cloyd received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles in English Literature. In 2005, he received his Juris Doctorate from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California. During law school, Mr. Cloyd interned with the California Department of Insurance. Mr. Cloyd is admitted to practice in all of the courts of the State of California and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
Mr. Cloyd is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys of California. He is a California native and lives in Belmont with his wife and children.
