Andje Medina Participates in American Association for Justice Women’s Lobby Days

Attorney Andje Medina headed to Capitol Hill for American Association for Justice (AAJ) Women's Lobby Days to lobby against the Protecting Access to Care Act of 2017 (HR1215). If passed, the bill would overrule state's rights and protect negligent doctors, deficient nursing homes and Big Pharma from consumer's claims. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi gave inspirational remarks to the group.

Fortunately, due in part to Women's Lobby Days, every Democratic representative, along with 19 Republican representatives, voted against the HR1215 bill in the House.

Since 1946, AAJ has become one of the world's largest trial bar association and its continued mission is to promote an effective and fair justice system.
