Elinor Leary and David L. Winnett File Suit on Behalf of Laborer Grievously Injured at the Moscone Center Projectv

Trial Team Leader Elinor Leary and Attorney David L. Winnett have filed suit against Webcor Construction, LP, on behalf of Raul Carrasco, a laborer who suffered massive injuries when a concrete slab fell on him at the Moscone Center project.

Webcor directed Mr. Carrasco to excavate sand away from the existing foundation that had not been adequately shored to protect against potential collapse. While he was performing this work, a slab broke and fell on top of him, fracturing his spine, shoulder, leg, and numerous ribs. Mr. Carrasco has not been able to return to work and may never be able to do so.
