Lawsuit Filed: Construction Worker Crushed and Killed by Steamroller

filed in Uncategorized

Elinor Leary and Alexandra Hamilton filed a lawsuit on behalf of the widow and children of Maurillo Rojas, for product liability and negligence after a co-worker lost control of a steamroller and rolled over him, crushing him.

Rojas was working on a public works street improvement project that involved pavement renovation. The steamroller involved in the renovation was designed using a hydrostatic drive, which was confusing to the operator. The operator could not stop the machine, and it rolled over Rojas. Rojas was rushed to the hospital where he suffered for two weeks before he succumbed to his injuries.
