Cliff Smoot Named “Outstanding New Lawyer” by SFTLA New Lawyer Division

We are happy to announce that Attorney Clifton Smoot has been named as an Outstanding New Lawyer by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association (SFTLA) New Lawyers Division (NLD). Among his many accomplishments, Cliff was recognized for his outstanding work in the legal community, providing legal students with workshops that outlined different memorization methods to pass the bar.
Additionally, Cliff coached the UC Hastings Trial Team and led them to a victory during the national mock trial competitions. Along with his membership in the NLD Committee, Cliff has presented on multiple topics and has been published in Plaintiff Magazine , Advocate Magazine and Organized Labor, to name a few.
For over fifty years, SFTLA has been a premier trial lawyers’ association. Through legal education, networking opportunities, and continuing traditions, SFTLA has preserved its long lasting commitment to provide access in justice, and serve the needs of plaintiff bars.
